About Me |
I graduated from the Walsh Lab at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2020 with my PhD in Quantitive Biology, with a specific focus on evolutionary ecology.
My research focused on understanding the role of phenotypic plasticity in the evolutionary process and the feedback between evolutionary processes and ecological systems. I used the Daphnia model system to investigate the cascading effects of local adaptations in a predator on induction of plasticity, shifts in life history traits, and evolutionary outcomes of their prey. I have a general interest in conservation biology, with a desire to understand evolutionary traits that lead to species adaptation, persistence and distribution. |
